Reiki is used primarily for stress reduction and relaxation. It re-aligns the energy around your body, which, when low, can make you more likely to be sick or stressed. Reiki affects both the physical body and energetic body around you.
Some people have sessions for a specific reason, such as to alleviate physical pain or illness. Others wish to resolve or heal an emotional wound, whether it be an on-going concern or a one off event that has caused difficulty. For some people, there is no specific reason for a session other than that they enjoy the experience; it is a part of their self-care and is an investment in their overall well-being. Many report a greater sense of wellness afterwards and for some there is a marked improvement in their physical, mental, or spiritual health.
We can discuss a treatment plan together so that you can decide how many sessions you’ll need to get what you want out of it. Ultimately, though, you may wish to study Reiki so that you can heal yourself; Reiki provides a wonderful toolbox of well-being strategies and abilities which is open to everyone ~ you just need to know how!
